DeMartini offer the full range of family law representation. Paula S. Hall represents parties to divorce and legal separation
disputes, as well as annulments.
Our focus is to help
adults make adult decisions about their lives. Our emphasis on dispute resolution rather than litigation has saved
hundreds of people thousands of dollars in unnecessary attorney’s fees and
unwarranted aggravation.
Ms. Hall represents fathers
and mothers in establishing and modifying child custody and support, as well as
other post judgment modifications such as spousal support.
Ms. Hall also offers
unbundled legal services to assist you in drafting a response or
reviewing an agreement.
Ms. Hall also handles
uncontested guardianships.
At the Law Offices of James
F. DeMartini, you can openly discuss your needs and goals. Together, you and Ms. Hall can find a resolution method that addresses
your financial situation, as well as the decision making styles of you and your
partner. Ms. Hall offers traditional
litigation, mediation, collaborative process and unbundled services.
Collaborative Process
The end of a relationship
can be emotionally draining enough and legal
disputes only add to the stress. The
Collaborative Process provides parting couples with a constructive alternative
to an adversarial courtroom battle. By
using the Collaborative Process, you can minimize the conflict, for the sake
of your children and yourself.
The process begins with a
pledge not to go to court and an honest exchange of information by both
spouses. After working
collaboratively with one another and neutral professionals, the process ends
with a solution that serves the needs of the parents and the children.
Ms. Hall provides the
support necessary to guide clients through the legal issues during the
emotional process of divorce. She
and her clients often work with a team of mental health professionals, child
specialists, and financial specialists to help clients make informed and
intelligent decisions to solve the client’s problems and meet the client’s
goals. A team is created
to address the client’s specific needs.
The lifelong
responsibilities of parenting remain, even after a divorce. By maintaining respect and encouraging cooperation using the
collaborative process, Ms. Hall helps parents and children retain family ties
while starting new ones.
Relationships sometimes
end, but Ms. Hall helps her clients through the process respectfully and
compassionately to a new beginning.
Ms. Hall schedules
collaborative appointments in Cloverdale, Windsor, and Santa Rosa. To learn more about Ms. Hall, please read her Nolo.com profile.

Mediation
Mediation is another
alternative to litigation. Mediation
helps clients reach a mutually satisfactory agreement in a less expensive and
less adversarial manner. The two
parties meet with a neutral mediator, with or without the assistance of
attorneys, to discuss their needs
and interests and to work out solutions. Mediation
is helpful in maintaining a healthy relationship in the future.
A healthy relationship can be an integral part of a successful
co-parenting plan.
We offer mediation
appointments in Cloverdale and Windsor.
Traditional
When only the court process
can resolve the issues presented by divorcing couples, Ms. Hall is an advocate
for her clients in the courtroom.
